Professor Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent OBE Becomes Patron of SafeHands
SafeHands for Mothers is delighted to welcome Professor Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent OBE, Head of Maternity, Children and Young People at NHS England, to the SafeHands’ distinguished board of patrons.
Jacqueline writes, “The work that SafeHands for Mothers is doing is inspiring and I am delighted to join this interesting journey with the SafeHands team.”
Jacqueline has vast experience in healthcare. She is a midwife, nurse, and educator and has held senior positions in clinical practice, education, leadership, and management. Jacqueline is currently the Head of Maternity, Children and Young People at NHS England. She is a visiting professor at Kings College London and South Bank University and a member of the British Journal of Midwifery editorial board. Her work influences healthcare, nationally and internationally, through research, education and publications.
