Friendship, Fundraising & Film
Tuesday, May 14th, 44 Fabulous Females gathered to discuss how to make the world better for women globally.
Hosted by Lily Bourne and Sally Greene, the evening was an opportunity to bolster awareness and knowledge of SafeHands’ work through a series of SafeHands’ short films highlighting big issues like reproductive rights, menstrual cups, maternal health, and female genital mutilation.
These remarkable women discussed ways that they can use their influence and their voices to amplify the work of SafeHands.
The evening ended in a spontaneous chorus led by Natalie Williams, a resident singer at Sally Greene’s London jazz club, Ronnie Scotts.
SafeHands Founder Director, Nancy Durrell McKenna, expressed her appreciation of the amazing evening, saying, " A Powerhouse of wonderful women ls an inspiring reminder of what we can achieve when we work together"
We are so grateful for the event’s success and to each Fabulous Female Friend who attended. Final thanks to Lily Bourne for hosting a creative and elegant fundraiser and to Sally Greene for welcoming us into her beautiful home, and to Rosie Nixon, Editor-in-Chief of HELLO Magazine and SafeHands Ambassador, for the beautiful photographic spread in the most recent edition of HELLO!
